ABOUT US
Linquenda Aqua is an environmentally friendly water bottling plant that believes in protecting our planet. We subscribe to recycling at consumer level as well as in our bottling plant. All our waste products from production is recycled.
Constant static level tests are being done by the Department of Water Affairs on our boreholes to insure the quality of our water source. We have also gained the services of one of South Africa’s leading hydrology companies to survey and compile our water usage as well as water quality reports.
We are self-sufficient and production does not stop due to load shedding. We are currently busy investigating the possibility of running the entire factory from solar power.
Our state of the art water bottling plant in Stellenbosch was designed by Filkraft (Pty) Ltd. as a turnkey solution to make sure our custom designed building meets and exceeds all standards and runs at maximum capacity.
Filkraft specializes in project management, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, training and maintenance of all aspects of the liquid packaging industry. A large part of the equipment range supplied by Filkraft is designed and manufactured in house to the highest European standards. Our range of equipment is complimented by various European and American imported machines. All of Filkraft’s solutions adhere to the EHEDG (European Hygienic Engineering and Design Group) standards.
Our main focus was to design and build a factory with the highest possible standards and production efficiency to enable us to produce large quantities of still, sparkling and infused water. All equipment i.e. pipe welding, routing and product contact parts, are designed and manufactured to EHEDG standards.
EHEDG (European Hygienic Engineering and Design Group) is a European-based non-governmental organization devoted to the advancement of hygienic design and food engineering. EHEDG is a consortium of equipment manufacturers, food industries, research institutes and public health authorities, founded in 1989 with the aim to promote hygiene during the processing and packing of food products.
